The wait was very long for a walk up window. Ordered a slider a quesadila and a taco. The taco was beef and had some great flavors, but it was a bit cold. The slider, pork, was also good and also not warm enough for my liking. The quesadila was the best, it was hot, tasty, and hit the spot on cold day. The quesadila was packaged in a small paper box and the end result was a pretty big mess, however. This type of food lends itself to more of a dine in experience in my opinion. The to go scenario is a bit of a challenge due to temps and keeping the food together. 4 stars for great flavors.
No flavor. I ordered the bulgogi rice bowl which included seasoned rice, raw veggies, meat, salsa, and salsa verde. The seasoned rice was brown in color, but barely tasted like anything. I love the addition of fresh vegetables, but the cucumbers, cabbage, bean sprouts are watery and bland. The vegetables could of been pickled or fermented for the extra korean flavors. The Mexican Korean FUSION was not executed. The rice bowl was not cohesive in taste. What I mean by not cohesive is, there was no component that brings the two flavors together. The rice bowl experience was more like let's cook bulgogi and add salsa and call it good. I think there's potential to improve the dish.
will I return? probably not.
I ordered beef bulgogi burrito here at Bridgeport. Disappointed that the rice is way underdone (when you bite into the grain of rice you can still see the opaque center, and it definitely has that grain-y bite to it). I always get the same order in Wilsonville location and never had this experience. I tried to call the Bridgeport location the same day but no answer.
I rarely give three stars but unfortunately labeling your building with rave reviews raises expectations. Ordering was pleasant, she was helpful through the process of first time visitor's orders. Food preparation was slow, I waited over 15 minutes for my order (possible reason at end). The food combination is amazing and I recommend trying it, though I should have asked additional questions since I assumed that "cabbage slaw" was the Americanized translation of kimchi, I will add that as an addition next time. All the above considered would not cause me to give three stars but the fact that the rice for our rice bowl and burrito was and still hard defintely left me unsatisfied, better not to serve it and offer a substitution. I will go back and try it again but not satisfied on the first visit.
Wish bought gluten free products to use (since already use corn tortillas for wraps and can be non-dairy).
Trying a Street Taco bulgogi and slider kalbi short ribs
Tacos were amazing! I got one beef and one short ribs taco, so good! Prices were very low and service was great!
Really disappointed the last few times we have gone to the Wilsonville and Bridgeport location. I have always loved their food, but quality has just been really slipping.
Today we decided to try again, and ordered the beef and pork burritos. Unfortunately, the rice wasn't cooked. It was just hard and inedible. Staff didn't seem to care when we brought it up to them. Which is also unfortunate. Can we go back to the 2015 Koi Fusion, please!
Absolutely delicious! My sister and I love the Korean Short Rib Tacos and burritos. The burritos are huge, the tacos look small but just two are very filling. The filling is plentiful so grab a fork or use your fingers and enjoy.
